Drive-Wise operates vehicle payment and financing pages on drive-wise.ca on behalf of individual automotive dealerships. One policy applies to all of them. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this page, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We aim to follow the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
This page is operated by Drive-Wise for the dealership named on the page you used (the "Dealer"). When you submit the form, your information is collected by Drive-Wise and provided to that Dealer, who becomes responsible for how they use it to follow up with you.
Only what you type or select in the form:
If you begin the form and provide your contact details but do not finish, the information you entered up to that point may still be saved so the Dealer can follow up.
No credit checks. Submitting this form does not authorize anyone to
obtain a credit report about you, and no credit inquiry is made. Any credit discussion
happens later, directly between you and the Dealer, with your separate express consent.
No selling or pooling of your information. Your information goes to the
single Dealer named on this page. It is not sold to, shared with, or pooled among any
other dealerships or third-party marketers.
We keep form submissions for as long as needed for the Dealer to respond to your inquiry and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion (see below).
To exercise any of these, contact us at privacy@drive-wise.ca. We will respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within the timelines required by law.
Your submission is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored with access limited to Drive-Wise and the Dealer. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
This service is intended for individuals 19 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 19; the form does not accept submissions indicating an age under 19.
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the page after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
